2023 Magnum Cuvée

Source
A selection of Pinot Noir from Jagged Ridge Vineyard and our East Kelowna estate.
Winemaking
Dijon clones 115 (30%), 114 (25%), 943 (25%), and 777 (20%) are hand-harvested, destemmed, and fermented in small batches. Following a 5–7 day cold soak, ambient fermentation takes place with three weeks on skins before a gentle press into French oak barrels (40% new) for 13 months. The final blend is carefully selected by the winemaker, ensuring a unique expression each year.
Tasting Notes
This vintage is earth and spice-driven, with notes of forest floor and clove. A vibrant mix of red and dark fruits—cherry, strawberry, dark plum, and blackberry—adds juiciness and depth. Subtle hints of mushroom, tobacco, and rose petal emerge, leading to a velvety palate with a lingering chocolate finish.
Pair with aged Gouda, caramelized onion and mushroom tart, or duck breast with blackberry reduction.
