Clone 95 from Duncan Vineyard on the Naramata Bench.
Winemaking
The fruit is carefully handpicked and then gently pressed as whole bunches. Fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, utilizing both traditional barrels and larger puncheons. Following fermentation, the wine matured in barrels (25% new oak) for a duration of 10 months. During this time, some of the barrels underwent partial malolactic fermentation.
Tasting Notes
Our 2022 Chardonnay is a symphony of fresh pineapple, mango, and poached pear, with toasted almond and lemon custard undercurrent. Subtle hints of vanilla add a creamy texture.
Pair with cheese fondue, roast chicken, seared scallops, creamy seafood pasta.
